Parenting is hard work

Our twin boys are 2 weeks old and we are doing all we can to keep them alive. The love and attention that their older brothers need brings many challenges. As I watch three year old Noah give Sawyer his twelfth kiss in row, I can’t help but watch the germs escape and cover my baby’s flawless head. I find myself wondering will we get through this stage with all of our children alive? As our two year old tries to pick up a baby and bring him to me, or while cooking dinner in the kitchen I hear sweet Noah whisper, “ CJ baby wants to swing higher”  Every day an adventure

It's a wonderful life

Four years ago the Flewelling family began a crazy adventure. Like many stories it started with a boy and a girl. A few months after they began their happily ever after, the story began to get interesting. They learned that they would have a bouncing baby boy. Joy filled their home as they prepared for the birth of Noah. Just a few months after Noah joined their family they were shocked to learn that they were expecting baby boy #2. CJ was born a short 10 months after Noah and they were best friends from the very start. The family was so happy, but missing something,  before CJ turned 2 years old, the family decided it was time to try for one last baby, a baby girl. To their surprise they were blessed with identical twin boys, Sawyer and Ryker.

… and that is where we find ourselves. Four little boys, under four years old, in less than  four years of marriage. I never thought I would have four children before my 28th birthday, or that our family would grow so quickly after our marriage. Needless to say, we are in over our heads, but so full of joy. Above all we are thankful to the Lord for trusting us with these gifts.
